About me
I hold a Masters of Speech Pathology and a Bachelor of Nursing with post graduate qualifications in Child and Family Health Nursing and certification in the treatment of functional voice disorders from the Dr Liang Voice Program. I am also certified in Oromyofunctional therapy, Sounds-Write Linguistic Phonics, Peers Social Skills program and the SPEAK OUT! Therapy Program for Parkinson's.
My Story
My background is in nursing, where I worked across acute and community settings with both adult and paediatric populations. Since transitioning to speech pathology, I have continued to enjoy working with people of all ages, drawing on my clinical experience to support each client in achieving their individual goals.
I am committed to providing evidence-based, individualised care and ensuring my clients have access to the most current and effective therapy approaches. To support this, I regularly attend professional development courses and conferences to stay up to date with the latest research and best practice. Ongoing learning enables me to deliver high-quality therapy and achieve the best possible outcomes for my clients.
I believe that successful therapy is built on collaboration. I take the time to develop genuine relationships with my clients, working together to identify meaningful goals and create therapy plans that reflect their priorities. I am passionate about empowering clients to be active participants in the decision-making process so they feel confident, informed, and invested in their therapy journey.
Above all, I enjoy getting to know my clients, celebrating their progress, and working alongside them to help them achieve what matters most to them.
